Charlie Besley

Having been brought up surrounded by classic sports and racing cars, and spending most of his early weekends at race circuits across the UK, Charlie's love for the industry was entrenched from a very early age. Like many enthusiasts, his childhood dream was to puruse a career as a professional racing driver. However, he soon became aware of the challenges of such a career. He often jokes that his height was the primary obstacle which prevented him from doing so.

Despite this, early competition in British karting championships led to Charlie racing in both contemporary and historic motor racing from his mid-teens to this present day. Charlie is often found competeting at prestigious European motorsport events, including: the Goodwood Revival, Goodwood Members' Meeting, Spa Six Hours and the Silverstone Festival (to name a few.)

Charlie combines years of experience in classic car sales and the collector car auction space with a passion for motorspot that extends beyond business. With his background in competetive circuit racing, he has developed a profound appreciation for the mechanical nuances that make each performance car unique. Known for his commitment to quality, he has earned a reputation for sourcing rare and significant vehicles, offering a service that is both deeply knowledgable and highly personalised.
